  • GET /api/v1/products and GET /api/v1/products/{product_id} require catalog.read.
  • POST /api/v1/products and PATCH /api/v1/products/{product_id} require catalog.write and Idempotency-Key.

Writes support simple, non-variant products. Product creation and merchant-wide core-field updates require grants for every active merchant location because inventory rows and core fields span the merchant. Variant, composite, tax, modifier restructuring, and lifecycle writes are not exposed.
